Hello! For folks unacquainted to me I would first like to recommend reading my bio page first so that everything I say here is said in the context of direct experience, actual seeing and client cases. But otherwise, let’s get to it!

Third eye visions, depending on the culture you come from, can come with a shroud of the esoteric and mysterious. I’ve had some folks grow up in the province in the Philippines with a natural talent to perceive ghosts and voices, praying/begging to God to let it go away. Especially if this occurs to you when you are very young, this can be a very destabilizing experience that makes one untrusting to one’s own senses and confidence in navigating with one’s world, let alone sleep.

I’ve taught children’s theater before and have taught what would be classified as “troubled” or even daresay “neurodivergent” children how to close the flower on top of their head, to aid them in retracting any overactive crown and third eye chakras, as their lower energetic systems don’t have the mastery yet to navigate these things. These children are often overwhelmed with the sensory input that is coming from everywhere and beyond, and equally as stressful if the helplessness of adults around them to be able to confidently soothe and assure them that nothing is happening to them or that “there is nothing staring at you from the bed”.

I have much to say about the damage of fetishizing or commodifying vengeful or even tense ghosts.

I understand that horror and mystery has a place in story and fiction (even non-fiction) as a way to come to terms with our collective fears — but as someone who’s generally, like a surgeon or a lawyer about this it’s just too overly dramaticized. If anything, any “third eye” experiences is more of an anatomical thing (energy body) more than anything, and most folks have it as a carry-over from their other lifetimes. No, they didn’t forcibly open it (usually). No, it’s not a gift or a curse.

With regards to the spiritual functions of clear seeing – which is often associated with this energetic organ, I would like to get two things out of the way first. (1) All that you see is filtered through your perceptions/free will/levels of permission. If I request angels and hairy ghosts to appear like docile anime characters they would. Even the scariest entities have accounts from enlightened masters, to well, look “normal” for the sake of convenience. Any kind of occultist who tries to make you more scared by saying this this and that is roaming around your house but with no means to rectify, bless or cross it over, you are simply dealing with a sham, or someone who’s just deeply incompetent. An “open” third eye doesn’t speak to anyone’s competence nor their morality. (2) Being able to see visions from a manic trip, sacred medicines and spontaneous spiritual initiations are definitely valid occurrences. The kundalini does rise, and larger spirits do purge your energetic body via large imprints of energy: wether through sound, vision, clairsentient heat water you name it. “Downloads”. But here’s the thing, being obsessed or attached, to this liminal state, where you are extra porous to visions, with no mastery of your Center, or even discernment of what the hell you are downloading/processing/learning – is just as foolish.

The reason why there are so many spiritual disciplines that build and master an energetic body, is because in a lot of higher/very highly concentrated bands of energy, things can get really sensitive and chaotic.

Take any “healer” that can’t stand to live in the city. Do you really have a mastery of your own energy? Or are you now handicapped because you can’t turn off your extra sense organs? Does that really make you a “crucible” of healing an oh so damaged world, or do you simply have a skill issue? Yes they can have a bandwidth of energy where they can slip in and interface with subtle energies: but seriously look at their own state and answer honestly do you think they’re having a good time with that state of overwhelm?

I won’t delve too deep into energetic techniques that are for folks who well, are engaging in spiritual work full-time. If you’re interested in that dear reader, see my other blog posts this or the pinned shielding one.

I’ll now get to the main point of the article which is closing the third eye for folks who are having psychotic breaks.

Ok. So it might not come as a surprise for people, but a lot of folks who have these very open “eye” centers have timelines where they actively use these senses. Priestess, witch to warlock energy, us just a very potent rishi. I don’t like using the term “rainbow” children (cause it feels like an “im specialer than you branding thing) — but there are souls that incarnate and really feel like they come from a very distant star system (their energetic stuff is more unique than most folks), or are an immensely huge soul (anatomy wise they’re built like a ferrari, not just huge as in clumsy).

If these folks don’t use their “visionary” capacity for work or their calling, or don’t have a good teacher/culture/discipline to wield it well — then it can often feel like a curse of oversensitivity and just being too downright weird. So even if I’m someone who’s taught/mentored these souls to use their capacities better, and more wisely — I also know that it’s a hard vehicle to drive.

Imagine you’re an awkward teenager and the car you inherited was built for a much larger man. Yes it’s a nice inheritance, but it’s also tailor-fit to a previous configuration of you/ the controls might be so complex and sensitive that it feels like I’m torturing a child to learn rocket science. Now I can teach the teenager how the controls work, maybe adjust the seat and re-route some fuel boosters, but the thing is if the tech gap is too huge, and the child is in no space to learn and is having a complete melt down… Well I’ll just give you an easier vehicle to drive.

Ergo I’ll nerf/downgrade some of your previous capacities. I find the wiring of your energetic body that you can’t seem to get a grip on, and I turn it off.

Am I still talking about spirit or engineering?

Both. When you can see the density and mechanics of these things it’s actually really easy. I don’t “imagine” it i see it as a literal fact when you sit there. You keep hurting yourself with this panel-window, I’ll take it out. I’ll uninstall it. (I usually leave a button for your higher self to always be able to re-access it when you’re better equipped but the thing is the button is it’s own kind of “perception-check” challenge, of can you really handle it? Before giving you access to what has previously been debilitating).

How does it feel like? Sometimes it’s just a flick of a finger. Sometimes I shut down all the upper energetic panelling because the person’s foundational energies are nowhere near capable of handling that kind of sensory input. I’ve had folks telling me “it’s finally quiet, I can finally sleep, I feel normal, I feel clean, I feel less haunted.”

The thing is, if one had better energetic mastery and training in discernment, and are exposed to less traumatic environments — psychotic breaks, and personality destroying hallucinations would simply happen less. A lot of folks simply do not have that support. The solution also sounding so mystical and being of the realm of spirit, discourages a lot of western-style medical psychological establishments that are still attached to phenomena they can physically measure. The thing is I simply see and access the anatomy of spirit, via spirit, and also spirit will only record/reveal itself to the degree that one has the capacity to see, so people/establishments simply need to trust me, which can be a tricky thing to earn.

Add on top of that, that I prefer to have the full consent and understanding of my clients (I really do not like performing a “magic” trick for you, I am literally moving around your karmic anatomy)- and one can see why this isn’t exactly the most widespread solution.

Oddly enough, I write this because I do want it to be more accessible.

I do want folks to have less fear or confusion around their own energetic bodies and capacities. Yes all the extra senses coming from other timelines can sound crazy at first, and even some of the logick around some of your older downloads can sound dumb (it’s the karmic cache of your old job, it’s a locational stray etc.) but it’s all also very logical, mechanical and ergo fixable. I have yet to encounter someone/case/client who’s extra sensory abilities is something they don’t have some level of free-will or karmic contract that they can renegotiate with. We can always leverage and manage a better configuration for everyone.

Again: it’s not a curse. And yes, it’s not all a mystery.
